Our challenges were myriad and nuanced, but due to the nature of our relationships with our suppliers and the architect, we were able to complement the architecture of the built environment by discreetly integrating hidden speakers and allowing windows to remain unobstructed by shades where the view was most important, while still allowing users to have complete dominion over their space. 

This home is nestled among the mountains and valleys of Big Sky, Montana—the perfect place for this style of lodge. It speaks to the landscape with the incorporation of wood and metal that reminds us of the hard textures of the natural world while creating a comfortable space with the softer accents of leather and fur throughout the dwelling. It feels both purpose-built for enjoyment of the environment around it and, at the same time, a piece of the landscape itself.
