Alpine Chalet

European Inspiration. Montana Living.

Named Mountain Living’s 2019 Home of the Year, Alpine Chalet brings the character of a traditional European ski retreat to the American West. Designed by Pearson Design Group and built by On Site Management, the 6,500-square-foot ski-in/ski-out residence combines reclaimed timber and native Montana stone with light-filled interiors and expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

SAV worked alongside the project team to ensure technology complemented that vision rather than competed with it. Automated shading, lighting and climate control, discreet audio, security, surveillance, and life-safety systems were thoughtfully integrated throughout the residence, providing modern comfort and control while remaining largely unseen.

The result reflects the balance found throughout the home: traditional craftsmanship paired with modern living, rustic materials with airy interiors, and sophisticated technology quietly supporting the experience behind the scenes.
