Designed with intention. Recognized for excellence.

A collection of thoughtfully designed homes where architecture, craftsmanship, and technology come together. Each project reflects a shared vision, brought to life through collaboration with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and builders. From mountain retreats to contemporary residences, our work demonstrates how seamlessly integrated technology can complement the architecture, enhance everyday living, and create experiences that feel as natural as the spaces themselves.

Through careful collaboration and invisible integration, the result is a home where innovation quietly enhances comfort, entertainment, and everyday living—without ever competing with the design.

  • Fells Ridge

Recognition is earned when technology and architecture become indistinguishable. This award-winning mountain retreat demonstrates how thoughtful integration can elevate every aspect of daily living, with hidden technology, immersive entertainment, and intuitive control systems working seamlessly behind the scenes to support a home designed for generations to enjoy.

Honored with the Technology Designer Performance Home Award, this mountain retreat showcases how thoughtful integration, meticulous craftsmanship, and close collaboration can transform complex technology into an experience that feels completely natural.

  • Cedar Burrow

Nestled within the Montana mountains, Cedar Burrow pairs refined architecture with technology designed to remain discreet. Working closely with the design-build team, SAV integrated Lutron motorized shades into custom wood beams and metal valances, allowing them to virtually disappear when not in use. The project earned both a 2023 Lutron Excellence Award and CE Pro Home of the Year Silver, recognizing the thoughtful collaboration, planning, and execution behind the finished home.

  • Sunshine Daydream

Creating an expansive audio experience without disrupting the home's architecture required equal parts engineering and restraint. This nationally recognized Big Sky residence proves that exceptional performance and exceptional design can coexist, earning top honors for both the project itself and its innovative audio integration.

  • Alpine Chalet

Named Mountain Living’s 2019 Home of the Year, Alpine Chalet reimagines the warmth and character of a traditional European ski retreat for modern Montana living. SAV integrated automated shading, lighting and climate control, discreet audio, security, surveillance, and life-safety systems throughout the residence, allowing sophisticated technology to support everyday comfort while preserving the craftsmanship, natural materials, and expansive mountain views that define the home.

  • Rouse House

Built in 1881 by Bozeman founder Daniel E. Rouse, the Rouse House is a remarkable example of historic preservation meeting modern living. SAV worked alongside Velocity to integrate hidden audio, lighting, entertainment, and carefully concealed infrastructure while respecting the home's original brickwork and architectural character. The transformation earned Gold and Silver honors in the 2025 CE Pro Home of the Year Awards, recognizing both the restoration and the thoughtful relationship between design and technology.

Warm materials and thoughtfully integrated technology create a gathering place equally suited to cinema, music, conversation, or a quiet evening with a book. The project earned Silver for Best Home Theater in the 2021 CE Pro Home of the Year Awards.

  • Manley Meadows

What began as a conversation about automated shading and audio/video grew into an opportunity to explore how architectural lighting could transform this custom Bozeman residence. Working alongside Studio H Design, SAV developed a layered lighting approach using DMF Lighting to complement the home's materials, highlight architectural details, and shape atmosphere throughout the day. The result demonstrates how thoughtful collaboration between design and technology can elevate the experience of a home.

  • Gemstone

Gemstone represents a comprehensive approach to residential technology, with SAV involved in nearly every aspect of the home's integrated experience. From complete lighting design and architectural fixtures to luxury motorized shading, audio, video, climate, security, networking, and automation, each system was thoughtfully designed around the architecture and interiors. • Summit Views

This extensive Yellowstone Club remodel brought architecture, interiors, construction, and technology together through close collaboration between Studio H Design, Shelter Interiors, Lohss Construction, and SAV. From complex infrastructure to a custom reclaimed-wood ceiling coordinated around lighting and speakers, the project demonstrates what becomes possible when every member of the design-build team works toward the same vision.

  • River Homestead

Expansive glass makes the surrounding Montana landscape an essential part of this Big Sky residence, but managing intense daylight, seasonal glare, and snow reflection required an equally thoughtful approach. These highly customized Bozeman homes pair next-generation DMF architectural lighting and luxury Lutron motorized shading with whole-home battery backup, intelligent power management, energy monitoring, and intuitive automation.
